Okay this was yet another fun one.I on a scale of one to ten this would have to be an 8. Though I can think of literally nothing amazing to say about the workout itself, I will state that my legs hate me for doing this. The one move that got my legs the most were the wall squats. I really didn't think much of these when we first got into the move, then ten seconds passed, then twenty, then thirty and I was out. We did this for a full 90 seconds and then we did a variation with one leg in the air and switching the leg in the air every ten seconds. Not a fun move at all. Also in between leg workouts we would throw in chin-up and pull-ups. Now I am still using a band for these as I am a little to overweight still to do real pull-ups and clumsy enough that using a chair for help would be a bad thing. But when I attempted the moves with a the green (40LB resistance band) it wasn't enough and I had to switch to the black (50LB resistance band) which seemed to work a little better for me.
Then the all important and very tiring ab ripper x. I made little improvement from two days ago. I was about the same with completing reps. I would get about ten done and then I couldn't get anymore. I still love this workout but my stomach at the end...it really hates me...seems to be a running trend with P90x, you do something so much and your body hates you for it. But I do have a feeling this is helping me and I think I'm getting stronger. Just need to stick with it and up next, Kenpo X, bring it!
