Day 4-Yoga X

I would like to first point out that I have truly been trying with this workout program. I haven't quite yet and have tried everything that Tony and his motley crew have tried, however and hour and a half of Yoga is out of the question. Don't get me wrong I did the exercises but I just am not flexible and not to mention during the moving portion of the yoga (i.e. Downward Dog,Warrior 1 and 2 and so forth) you basically do the same moves over and over then add one one little twist at the end. It was repetitive and way to difficult for someone who isn't flexible and fat.

After the first 45 minutes or so the moving Yoga is done and then you get into balance. Just as difficult and I really just wanted to give up. I still gave my all trying to hold the positions but I just couldn't. I mean there is even one move where you are in a lunge, you open your chest up by rotating your opposite shoulder toward the ceiling (so if you are lunging to the right then the left shoulder is toward the ceiling) and then you place your left arm around your back and your right arm goes under your butt (technically right thigh but yeah not flexible) and you try to grab your left wrist with your right hand...now that was fun. Then we got into moves were you are standing on one leg...and that's when I called it a night. I wasn't about to try standing on one leg.

All in all Yoga X still got me to sweat but I will not be doing this again anytime soon. I instead will be substituting Yoga X for Cardio X. Now that is in no way shape or form going to make my workouts easier but at least I'm not quitting altogether. So with that said if you are flexible and feel like doing Yoga X, then by all means do so, but for me I need to switch to something else.
